Terms of Sale

1. Your order

Paying at checkout places your order. We confirm it by email or phone before we send it to the cabinet maker. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a product is no longer available or we can't verify the payment; if we do, you get a full refund.

2. Prices and mistakes

Prices are in US dollars and are checked again on our server when you check out. If a price is obviously wrong (a typing or system error), we may cancel that order or item and refund you in full, and we'll tell you before anything ships.

New Jersey sales tax (6.625%) is added at checkout when your order is delivered to a New Jersey address or picked up in Perth Amboy, NJ: on the cabinets and the delivery charge, and on freight we quote later for a New Jersey delivery. Orders delivered outside New Jersey are not charged sales tax. The tax follows the delivery ZIP entered in the cart; if the delivery address is in another state, we correct the tax before anything ships. When we refund an order, the sales tax on the refunded amount is refunded with it.

3. Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Payment is taken in full at checkout. When freight is quoted separately, we send you a separate Stripe payment link for it.

4. Delivery and freight

• Forevermark delivery within the local zone is a flat $150.00 per order, charged at checkout.
• Other freight is quoted to your address after you order. If you don't accept the freight quote, you may cancel before anything ships and get a full refund.
• American Royal delivers to New Jersey addresses only.
• Delivery is curbside. Delivery above the ground floor must be arranged with us in advance.

5. Inspection, damage and risk of loss

Check every box before you sign for the delivery, and write any missing or damaged box on the driver's delivery slip. The goods become your responsibility when you (or someone at the delivery address) sign for them.

Report any damage to us within 7 days of delivery, with photos. Damage not noted or reported in that time may not be covered.

6. Returns

• Unopened flat-pack (RTA) boxes, in their original packaging, can be returned within 60 days.
• A 25% restocking fee applies, and you arrange and pay the return freight.
• Cabinets that have been assembled or modified can't be returned. Assembled orders can't be returned.

7. Cancelling

You can cancel free of charge until we send your order to the cabinet maker. After that, the order is treated as a return: the restocking fee and return freight may apply.

8. Warranty

Cabinets carry the manufacturer's warranty only; we don't add a separate one.

• Forevermark: 5-year limited warranty; painted finishes 2 years.
• American Royal: the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty claims go through us; we pass them to the maker.

9. Limits of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We aren't responsible for installation work, labor, or indirect losses such as delays to your project. Nothing here limits rights you have under New Jersey consumer law that can't be waived.

10. Fraud and safety

• We will never ask you to pay outside our website and Stripe: no wire transfers, gift cards, Zelle or cash apps for an online order.
• We will never ask you to pay a trucking company or shipper directly. Freight is paid to us, through a Stripe link we send.
• Refunds go only to the card you paid with.
• We may call you to confirm a large or unusual order before it ships.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
