Fillers, panels and trim · 3″ deep

Trim is what makes a run of boxes look like a built kitchen. Fillers close the small gaps between a cabinet and a wall or an appliance. End panels cover the exposed side of a cabinet. Toe kick closes the gap at the floor. Crown molding finishes the top of the wall cabinets, and light rail hides the underside.

Order trim in the same finish as your cabinets, so the color and grain match. Count your fillers and end panels from your plan, then add a little extra toe kick and crown for corners and cuts.
